In the beginning of the process things were going very well. Grant helped suggest vehicles and got approximate values for my trades. But then I was randomly handed off to Luis which was okay because he was very kind but it wasnt explained why. I waited for the vehicle to arrive that I wanted to purchase and another couple came in looking for that vehicle and then there was extreme pressure implied to hurry up and come test drive it and when I arrived it wasn't even ready for 2 more hours. I decided I wanted the vehicle and no official numbers were shown to me as far as values for my trades, purchase price or the rebates I was told I would get. I was sitting in Luis's office alone for 2+ hours while people randomly came in and out asking questions, but no one explained much. Then I was moved to do my paperwork which was barely explained. I still wasnt even sure of the purchase price or loan ammount when I was being told to sign paperwork. All I knew was my payment ammont. Then I was told I couldnt get the vehicle til the next day so they could put on paint and interior protection but that it would be done first thing. I talked with Luis the next day and he said he dropped it off at 8am to have that done and I said I would be in at 1:30. When I showed up at 1:30 the vehicle was still not ready. My paperwork was also incorrect so I had called jennifer to have that prepared to be fixed. I signed new paperwork again with little explination. Waited again an hour then finally was able to go. Only to find when I was back to cozad the intransits hadnt been put in the vehicle. I went to get those the next day. After leaving the dealership jennifer called me because again my paperwork was inncorrect. That afternoon I went back to fix it. Then 6 days later I received a call from Trius that the pay off ammount was 250 dollars short. They told me I owed that money and I was like I don't understand how that was paid wrong as I got the 10 day pay off while I was sitting in the office so it should have been correct. I called Jennifer but she was out so I talked to Grant and he said he would have it taken care of. After taking a little time to review the paperwork fully before I go to get plates I see that none of the rebates that were talked about during my buying process were given to me. Honestly this was the messiest buying process I have ever had. Grant, Luis and Jennifer were very nice but the process was absolute hell. I am not sure I would consider buying from Heartland again because of all the issues. Every one of these problems could very simply been fixed but especially the financial process because leaving customers in the dark is unacceptable.

We have dealt with Heartland for years & always have great service with whatever we need done. We trust what they need to do & what they tell us & for the most part it is always the top priority for them to do what they say they are going to do. We feel they have always been fair & they make you feel you are an important customer. We are very sad that Joe has left as he will be greatly missed. He was one of the main reasons we trade there.
